Japanese boxer cuts off rival’s nuts, flushes them down toilet

A Japanese man is accused of cutting off the penis of his wife's alleged lover before flushing it down a toilet.

The Japan Times reported Thursday that Ikki Kodukai, 24, attacked the 42-year-old victim with a pair of garden shears.

Kodukai reportedly beat the unidentified man before removing his pants and cutting off what police described as a "lower body part" that was later confirmed to be his genitals. The victim's injuries were described by police to not be life threatening.

The victim is a lawyer who may have been romantically involved with Kodukai's wife, according to the Japan Times. Kodukai is a graduate student in Tokyo. Kodukai was arrested after the attack.
