Transgender Woman Beaten and Fatally Shot After Being Attacked by 5 Men in Philadelphia
Police in Philadelphia are asking for the public's help in tracking down five men allegedly responsible for killing a 22-year-old transgendered woman on Tuesday morning.

Officer Leeloni Palmiero of the Philadelphia Police Department confirms to PEOPLE that eyewitnesses told detectives that at least five men were involved in a savage attack on Kiesha Jenkins. The attack occurred shortly after 2:30 a.m., just moments after Jenkins was dropped off on the 1300 block of Wingohocking Street.
Palmiero says the men allegedly beat Jenkins to the ground before one of them drew a gun and fired off two rounds, striking her in the chest and back. "We are actively looking for suspects but have no motive yet," says Palmiero. "We have no idea why she was murdered." Emergency responders rushed Jenkins to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 2:53 a.m. On social media, news of Jenkins's death has incited outrage, with her supporters using the hashtag #SayHerName and calling on authorities to bring her killers to justice.
